My newsletter looks wrong in Outlook
Outlook renders email differently from other clients. That is not a flaw in your template but a reality to design around.
Why it is different
Some versions of Outlook do not use a browser engine to display messages. Many modern layouts simply do not work.
What breaks most often
Columns stacking wrongly, images overflowing, spacing disappearing, and rounded corners turning square again.
What always works
A simple layout at a fixed width, styles written directly on the elements, and explicit dimensions on every image. Boring, but reliable everywhere.
Fonts
A custom font is not loaded. Always specify a readable fallback, otherwise your message renders in something you did not choose.
Test before sending
Not only in your own client. How it renders at the recipient's end is all that matters, and that is exactly what you cannot see while writing.
