My mail reaches Gmail but not company addresses

This is a common and confusing pattern: your messages to personal addresses arrive, the ones to company addresses vanish.

Why the difference

Corporate mail servers often apply much stricter rules, and sometimes extra filters configured by their own IT team.

The most common cause

Incomplete authentication. The large consumer providers are more forgiving; a corporate filter simply refuses.

The second cause

Attachments and links. Many corporate filters block certain file types or rewrite links, and a shortened link is especially suspect.

How to investigate

Ask the recipient to check with their IT what the log says. The exact refusal reason is there, and it is usually specific.

What you can fix yourself

SPF, DKIM and DMARC in order, a consistent sending domain, and no link shorteners. That resolves most of these cases.
